Pen.io (http://pen.io/) is a simple, clean, web content publishing tool. Users select a title and password and then enter text, drag images, or add tags to embed videos and create links. Instructors could use Pen.io to distribute content or assignments, and students could build pages collaboratively or individually to actively engage with course material and concepts. Account creation and login is not required in Pen.io, and all pages are publicly available.

iSpring Free
iSpring Free (http://ispringsolutions.com) is a free, downloadable add-on to PowerPoint (PC-only) that allows users to export narrated PowerPoint presentations as Flash for sharing online. Because of the small file size produced by iSpring, instructors can distribute course content easily and effectively to their students, and students can themselves develop and share voice-over presentations as part of their coursework. Glogster
Glogster (http://edu.glogster.com) moves beyond blogging to create interactive, virtual posters of text, images, and video. This tool is particularly popular among students because it encourages creativity and allows for expression of personality and style. Ahead (http://ahead.com) is a flash-based application that allows users to design presentations and publish content on an open canvas. Ahead features a zooming navigational interface and supports images, audio, and video.

Prezi
Prezi is a dynamic, web-based presentation tool. Prezi allows users to create non-linear presentations on a single canvas where viewers can navigate both spatially and sequentially. Users can easily embed into Prezi images, links to the web, and YouTube and flash (.flv) videos. Prezi users can also present remotely as well as invite others to work together in real-time on the same project.
Prezi's visual style provides the opportunity for learners to engage with course content in new, innovative ways rather than in a limited, slide-based manner like PowerPoint. Students can click and zoom anywhere on the canvas at any time to quickly view and/or review the content that is most important to them. Because Prezi is relatively easy to use, instructors can ask students to develop Prezis individually or as a group working collaboratively. Prezi, like YouTube, provides the .html code for each presentation.
